Two-sided aviation marketplace
Aircraft operators post crew needs. Pilots quote directly.
PilotMP is a marketplace, not an agency. Operators list a trip or position; crew see matching opportunities and respond with availability and rates. Both parties negotiate, share documents, and confirm the assignment in one place.

For pilots
01
Build your profile
List aircraft types, ratings, hours, home base, and experience. Upload documents privately and share them only when you choose.
02
Set availability
Mark yourself as available, unavailable, or available on specific dates. Auto-invites only reach you when you are open.
03
Respond to requests
Receive invites that match your criteria. Submit a quote with your day rate and discuss details directly with the operator.
04
Get confirmed
Once an operator accepts your quote, share requested documents and confirm the assignment details in one place.
What you can do on the marketplace
Search and filter crew
Find pilots by aircraft type, role, base, hours, and availability windows.
Compare quotes
See day-rate quotes from multiple crew for the same request and compare experience side by side.
Message in one thread
Keep request, quote, and assignment conversations tied to the opportunity instead of scattered email.
Request and share documents
Operators request the credentials they need; crew share documents per assignment, not publicly.
Get matched automatically
Crew receive invites when a request matches their aircraft, role, and availability settings.
Control your data
Contact details and documents stay private until an assignment is confirmed or you choose to share.
What PilotMP does and does not do
| PilotMP does | PilotMP does not do |
|---|---|
| Run a two-sided marketplace where operators and crew find each other | Employ crew or act as a staffing agency |
| Let crew publish professional information and share documents privately | Independently verify certificates, ratings, medicals, or identity |
| Help operators search, filter, and compare crew quotes | Guarantee fitness for a specific flight or operator |
| Facilitate quotes, messages, and assignment confirmation | Conduct background checks or recurrent-training validation |
| Record document-sharing and operator review status per assignment | Act as a credentialing authority or regulator |
| Provide a structured due-diligence checklist for each assignment | Replace an Operator's own hiring and verification process |
You are responsible for due diligence
Every engagement on PilotMP is a direct agreement between the Operator and the Crew Member. Operators must verify credentials, medical status, training, identity, and legal eligibility before hiring. Crew Members are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide. Read the full responsibility model in our Terms of Service.
Common questions
Is PilotMP a crew staffing agency?
No. PilotMP is a software marketplace that connects operators directly with independent crew. We do not employ crew or take a commission on engagements.
How do I know a crew member is qualified?
You request and review the documents and credentials you need. PilotMP records that a document was shared, but you must verify its contents and validity.
Can crew members set their own rates?
Yes. Crew members submit their own day-rate quotes for each request. Operators compare quotes and choose who to hire.
What happens after I confirm an assignment?
Both parties see the confirmed assignment details and can continue messaging. PilotMP does not manage payroll, scheduling, or flight operations.
Is there a cost to join as crew?
Crew can create a profile, receive requests, and submit unlimited applications for free. Professional adds enhanced visibility, privacy, and other premium tools; see Pricing for details.
What if a crew member is unavailable?
Crew set their availability status and date ranges. The platform only sends auto-invites to crew who are marked available for the requested dates.
